The foil needs to be plain, free from streaks, unevenness wrinkles, scratches, cracks, rust residuals, oil spots, oxidation and stains or from any other defects. 2. The end face of the foil roll should be plain, no edge warping and bruise. 3. Splices will be ultrasonically welded and well visible marked at the flange a couple of layers before the joint. Strength of the weld at the seam to be min. 80% of the foil strength. 4. The uncoiling length in the adhesion experiment: the uncoiling length is less than1.0 m.
