Waste heat boiler

The waste heat boiler is mainly used in the sulfur recovery unit, which is arranged behind the acidic gas heat reactor, tail gas incinerator and other incinerators.

The waste heat boiler of sulfur recovery unit is a typical fire tube boiler. The waste heat boiler has two functions. One is to recover high heat by producing medium pressure steam; the other is to cool the process gas.

The process gas tube entrance of the waste heat boiler is usually applied with high alumina ceramic pipe, and the ceramic pipe is inserted into the tube and wrapped with the ceramic fiber. Between the sealing pipe and the pipe surface, 90% aluminum iron cement refractory material is used, and the thickness is about 100 - 150mm.
